Along the road from Volterra (9 km) to San Gimignano (18 km) you find the Villa Scopicci (18th century), not far from the villa of Ulignano (17th century) and the medieval church "Pieve della Nera" (11th century) as well as the refreshening waterfalls of the Nera.

A few 100 meters from the farmhouse you can see the trail leading to the adjoining and uncontaminated "Natural reserve of Monte Nero". The variety of rare plants and animals surprises constantly visitors fond of nature and trekking with the sudden appearance of many species of birds and ungulates as well as with wide fields covered with wild orchids.

The short distance of 9 km to the most interesting etruscan city of Volterra, of 18 km to San Gimignano, the "city of the medieval skyscrapers", and only 45 km to the coast will allow you to complete a unique holiday made of physical and intellectual well being and enrichment.
Also Florence, Siena and Pisa can be reached easily from here.

There are 3 buildings with one holiday flat in each belonging to the Villa Scopicci :

• One holiday flat in the  Villa itself (photos left hand and below),

• one holiday flat in the old farmhouse "Scopicciolo" and

• one holiday flat in the farmhous "Ulivacci"

All apartments are furnished in the traditional rustic tuscan style and thus offer holidays in an original tuscan environment, within the marvellous nature, away from the traffic.

The apartment in the Villa is situated on the ground floor and has one bedroom with double bed (right hand photo), a small livingroom with a bedsettee for a third person (see left), a kitchen and a bathroom with shower.

A typical tuscan vestibule (photo above) connects the flat with the main entrance as well as with a small shady courtyard which leads to the private garden of this flat.

Scopicciolo
has as spacious holiday flat of about 100 sqm, which is suitable for up to 5 persons.

It has 
one bedroom with double bed, 
another bedroom with a single bed, 
a double bedsettee in a a livingroom, 
a big kitchen with dining table and open fireplace
and a bathroom with shower.

The ground is fenced, which is a particular advantage for guests with pets.

A little more distant than Scopicciolo there is the farmhouse  Ulivacci 
with its marvellous panoramic view towards Volterra 
and the private garden, protected by a green hedge.

The spacious holiday flat for 6-7 persons has a big tuscan vestibule, which is traditionally kitchen and livingroom in one, with its characteristic large open fireplace (focarile) that in old times was often the only heated place in the tuscan farmhouses.
There is further a smaller livingroom (see photo below in the middle), a bedroom with double bed, another bedroom with two single beds, another livingroom with a double bedsettee and two bathrooms with shower. 
Ulivacci has central heating.
